A three-day long art exhibition organized by Fine Arts faculty of Rajshahi University (RU) began on the campus on Saturday.
Palan Sarkar, known as the hawker of the knowledge, inaugurated the programme at the faculty premises at 11.00 am.
Renowned mathematician Professor Subrata Mahumdar attended the programme as chief guest while chairman of the Painting, Oriental Art & Printmaking department Professor Ritendra Kumar Sharma was present as special guest.
A total of 58 artworks including sculptures and photographs made by the young sculptors and students of the faculty are kept in the display of the exhibition.
The exhibition will remain open for the visitors from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday that will be continued till Monday.
